Meta Humans Center - Winter Park FL
A curiosity-driven learning environment where kids and teens are known, supported, and encouraged to go deep.
About This Place
The real value of Winter Park isn’t in any single activity, it’s in the relationships that form over time, & the safety that allows learning to stick.
The Winter Park Meta Humans center is a vibrant, curiosity-driven environment where kids and teens explore ideas deeply, especially in science, biology, systems, and storytelling.
This is a place for learners who like to ask big questions, follow complex interests, and take their time making sense of how things work. Learning here is relational and emergent: structured experiences are offered, and then adapted in real time based on how each learner engages.
Who You’ll Meet Here
Meet Chelsea - Lead Educator at Meta Humans Winter Park
Chelsea leads the Winter Park center with a strong focus on curiosity, attentiveness, and respect for each learner’s internal process. Her work centers on creating an environment where kids and teens feel safe enough to think deeply, explore openly, and engage without pressure.
Winter Park often attracts learners who are reflective, intellectually curious, and motivated by understanding rather than performance.
Chelsea shares what she hopes learners develop while they’re here, and why Winter Park is designed as a safe place to experiment, build confidence, and grow into how they learn best.
“Preparedness at Meta Humans means confidence, agency, and knowing how to learn, not mastering a specific set of skills.” - Chelsea Rabourn
What the Experience Is Like
At Winter Park, you’ll see:
learners following deep interests across science, biology, systems, and narrative
small-group and individual exploration
thoughtful conversation and quiet focus alongside collaborative work
adults paying close attention to how each child engages, not just what they produce
This is not a place built around constant stimulation or fast outcomes.
It’s a place where depth, curiosity, and trust are allowed to grow.

FAQs
-
Guest visits are meant to support relationships, not increase total attendance.
Guests can use one of your prepaid visits or attend at the daily rate. Guest visits are not added on top of your total number of visits.
This allows families to invite friends in a way that supports social connection while keeping the overall experience balanced and intentional.
Example: If you have a prepaid pack with 33 total visits, you may choose to use some of those visits for guests. Using 6 guest visits would leave you with 27 visits remaining.

Meta Humans is designed as a relationship-based learning environment, not a drop-in program.
Families who see the most impact commit long enough for trust, familiarity, and personalized experiences to emerge. For this reason, we ask families to commit through the end of the public school year.
Memberships can be changed or canceled with one month’s notice. Our goal is to balance flexibility with the time needed for the model to actually work.
-
All Meta Humans educators and staff complete background checks and are carefully selected.
Beyond formal experience, we look for adults who are attentive, patient, and capable of building real relationships with kids and teens.
Our team comes from a wide range of backgrounds — including engineering, science, creative fields, education, and facilitation — but what matters most is their ability to create a safe, respectful environment where learners feel known.
-
Safety is a priority at Meta Humans.
All exterior doors remain locked, and parents are required to be let in. We use a check-in and check-out process with an authorized pick-up list.
Cameras are installed throughout the center to support visibility and accountability.
-
Meta Humans is not a class your child attends.
It’s a learning environment your child grows into over time, through relationships, guided experiences, and increasing trust.
Structured activities are part of the day, but the real learning emerges through how kids engage, interact, and are supported by the adults around them.
-
Families are welcome to schedule an orientation visit to see the space, meet the team, and understand how the environment works.
A single visit can’t show the full Meta Humans experience. The real value emerges over time as relationships form and kids feel safe enough to fully engage.
Orientation visits are meant to help families decide whether this model is a good fit.
-
This location serves children and teens who are able to participate in small-group, relationship-based learning environments.
We generally work best with learners who can read and write independently and are ready to engage with peers and adults outside of a traditional classroom structure.
If you’re unsure whether this is a good fit for your child, an orientation visit is the best place to start.
-
No.
Meta Humans respects learner agency. We don’t force participation or motivation.
Our role is to create a safe, engaging environment, offer guidance, and support growth. Real engagement happens when kids and teens feel respected and understood.
