Teen Membership Ages 14+

Small red divider

A shorter-visit option for teens who use Meta Humans as a base, not a full day.

Meta Humans® Teen Membership is for teens 14+ who come in for part of the day, work on something specific, spend time in the lounge, and head out. It's priced for shorter visits and built around teens who want a place to land between other things, not teens who plan to be at Meta Humans the whole day.

If your teen attends full-day or wants unrestricted access throughout the day, the right fit is the homeschool membership, not this one.

Teens choose how they engage:
projects, collaboration, or focused work.
Educators provide guidance, accountability,
and help navigating responsibilities.

This is not school or tutoring, but a long-term environment that supports growth through time, trust, and participation.

How this compares to homeschool membership

Teen Membership

  • Up to 3-4 hours, anytime 9am to 4pm

  • Lounge-centered, self-directed, shorter visits.

  • Designed for self-directed teens who can manage themselves independently

  • Lighter staff involvement — educators are present but not actively prompting

  • Teens choose whether to join activities or work on their own projects

  • Lower cost per visit reflects the expectation of self-management and shorter visits

  • Best for teens who just need a space, community, and autonomy

Homeschool Membership

  • Full day, 9am to 4pm

  • More structured day with active educator involvement

  • Staff guide participation in workshops, activities, and projects

  • Educators prompt engagement and support focus and follow-through

  • Higher cost per visit reflects the hands-on adult support provided

  • Best for learners who benefit from reminders, structure, and guided participation

Teen membership is not the right fit for teens who attend full-day, or regularly needs educator prompting to stay on task, or want unrestricted access throughout the day. Those teens are better served by the homeschool membership.

What Teens Actually Do There

Instead of a fixed schedule, teens move through a mix of:

  • self-directed work and exploration

  • collaborative projects

  • guided challenges introduced by adults

  • conversation, games, and social time

  • focused or quiet work when needed

What matters isn’t the activity, it’s how teens engage, follow through, and interact over time.

Adults actively guide this process.

No fixed schedules! Engage, follow through & interact.

From lounge privileges to real-world projects, clubs and workshops, the Teen Membership delivers a complete & personalized experience.

Guidance, Accountability, and Trust

Adults at Meta Humans don’t lecture or micromanage teens.

Instead they build real relationships with teens, support motivation, help teens navigate responsibility, guide social dynamics, and gradually increase autonomy as trust builds.

Teens aren’t left alone, and they aren’t controlled.

Why Teens Choose to Stay

Over time, teens often gain:

  • more confidence speaking and collaborating

  • stronger sense of ownership over their time

  • real responsibility (not fake leadership)

  • space to explore interests without pressure

  • the ability to work with different kinds of people

To become someone who can navigate real life.

When Motivation Is Low,
Pressure Usually Makes It Worse

Many teens arrive tired, disengaged, or unsure.

This doesn’t mean they’re lazy. It usually means they’ve learned to protect themselves in environments that didn’t fit.

Teen Membership is designed to rebuild motivation through trust, agency, and guidance not force or rewards.

Building trust, agency & motivation takes time.

A Good Fit For Teens Who…

Teen Membership often works well for teens who:

  • don’t thrive in traditional school settings

  • want more autonomy but still need support

  • are socially anxious, burned out, or disengaged

  • are curious but unmotivated by grades

  • need a safe place to belong

It works best when families are aligned around patience and consistency.

Important to Know Before Joining

Teen Membership is not a drop-in hangout or another school program. It isn’t a behavior-management system, a short term fix or a specialized skills course.

The value comes from time, trust, and participation.

What People Are Saying

“I don't know about most of you, but I hated school and spent most of my time counting down the seconds till I could leave. If I attended this school, I'd be watching the clock hoping it would slow down.

If I want my son to do something he doesn't want to do, I threaten to take away a day of Meta Humans, not a joke, this actually works lol. That's how much he loves this place.

It has a Japanese cyberpunk aesthetic which feels oddly natural there and uniquely warm and cozy. There are 3D printers, laser cutters, 3D design programs my 7 year old uses to create unique models, a video studio, a lego room, a lounge for older kids, a competitive video game room, a gaming room for board games and other activities. They get XP for completing tasks, which they can turn in for rewards. They get to play video games with their friends between those XP tasks.

They've made learning fun for the kids, which is what we're missing in modern education. The kids each go at their own pace, doing their own thing a lot of the time. My son loves TinkerCAD, the 3D modeling program they use. 3D modeling is incredibly complex and difficult to learn, but with this simple program he's picking it up fast and doing some really unique things with it. This school is a perfect example of what education needs to look like going forward. And if you read this review all the way to the end, you really should go take a tour to better understand what I'm talking about, because words don't do it justice. I bet by the end of the 10 minute tour, you'll wish you could have attended a school like this.”

“My kiddo is neurospicy and has struggled to find a place where he felt comfortable enough to explore. After trying quite a few drop off enrichment programs for homschoolers, Meta Humans is the first to bring my kiddo out of his shell!

He’s always so eager to share his day with me, show me what he’s been working on, talk about what he experimented with, who he worked with, etc. Being in the right environment has allowed him to grow and it’s been beautiful to watch him come into his own!

We highly recommend this place to everyone we know. He’s so comfortable with the staff, everyone has been wonderful. We signed up for the membership and set up to attend their summer enrichment program!”
