Short-term experiences inside the Meta Humans learning environment

Meta Humans® Camps & Special Sessions provide daytime care during school breaks through hands-on, maker-focused experiences.

Kids work on projects, use specialized tools, and collaborate with peers while educators ensure safety, guidance, and positive group dynamics.

These are short-term sessions with flexible activities and no required outcomes.

A Great Use of School Breaks

When school is out, families need something that’s fun, engaging, and genuinely worth a child’s time.

Meta Humans camps give kids access to a real makerspace environment: tools, materials, and challenges that feel exciting and “grown-up”, with adults who can help them build, create, and collaborate safely.

Your child will be supported and proud of what they’re making.

How These Camps Are Different

Many camps offer activities. Meta Humans offers a makerspace-style environment with real tools, guided by adults who help kids engage well, work together, and finish strong.

Our camps have something with everyone: Laser engraving, 3D design, 3D printing, electronics, coding, custom video game development, video production, prototyping, soldering, custom t-shirt making, science experiments and more.

In addition to access to real-life equipment/projects, our camps emphasize:

  • relationship-first learning

  • mixed interests and pacing

  • adult guidance (not supervision)

  • social interaction with support

Adults actively guide engagement, help navigate social dynamics, and adapt activities in real time.

Examples of What Kids Might Explore

What makes Meta Humans camps exciting for many kids is access to tools and experiences they don’t usually get to use, combined with the freedom to actually do something real with them.

Depending on the group, interests, and age range, kids might spend time:

  • designing and fabricating objects using 3D printers or laser engravers

  • building and testing physical projects

  • experimenting with electronics or digital tools

  • creating games, stories, or interactive experiences

  • cooking, prototyping, or running hands-on challenges

  • collaborating on shared builds or ideas

Each week has a preset schedule and activities may shift as educators respond to how the group is engaging and what kids are ready for.

Real Tools, Guided Use

Unlike many camps where equipment is mostly for show, Meta Humans is a working makerspace.

Kids don’t just watch demonstrations, they get guided access to real tools, materials, and processes. Adults are present to:

  • ensure safety

  • help kids learn how tools actually work

  • support collaboration around shared equipment

  • encourage follow-through instead of rushing results

Meaningful engagement with tools that spark curiosity and confidence.
