A Place to Grow & Belong
For years, we've dreamed of creating a space driven by pure curiosity and community collaboration. A place where projects happen organically, where members help each other learn, and where families can build and grow together.
Introducing Meta Humans open, dynamic weekend program: a true makerspace for the whole family. This is not about teaching; it's about facilitating discovery, guiding passion projects, and empowering our members to solve real-world challenges in a hands-on, creative environment.
Fuel Their Future with Skills That Matter
Are you looking for a weekend activity that goes beyond the ordinary? A place where your child won't just be entertained, but truly engaged and empowered?
Our new weekend program is designed to cultivate the essential human skills needed for the future: collaboration, design-thinking, creative problem-solving, and project management. We provide a dynamic, cross-age learning environment where your child’s natural curiosity leads the way. Instead of rigid classes, members join a vibrant community where they work on passion projects, form clubs, and learn by doing.
Pay-It-Forward Culture
At Meta Humans, we don’t teach, we guide. Many of our members have a special skill that they share with the community. From lock-picking, to cosplay, to prop-making, coding, cybersecurity, or even cooking, it is in the community that you’ll find true value.
By the community - for the community!
Start the next multi-disciplinary project, run your D&D campaign, coach a chess team, or practice your improv game with your teammates… the possibilities are endless.

Makers & Problem Solvers
Learn by doing! Meta Humans are actively honing real-world problem-solving skills. By experimenting with 3D printers, coding micro-controllers, and collaborating on design challenges, you learn how to tackle obstacles head-on.
Each prototype, iteration, and idea sparks innovative thinking and cultivates resilience. In this creative & supportive environment, you discover the power of collaboration, transforming curiosity into tangible solutions that have the potential to shape your future and your community.

FAQs
What materials do we have access to?
We have a variety of materials available to you, including paint, resin, craft paper, prototyping materials, hot glue, clay, cardboard, misc. craft materials, and more. We also have materials available for purchase, such as t-shirts and apparel, 3D Printing Filament, laser engraving wood and acrylic, and electronic components.
What equipment can we use?
You will have access to 3D printers, a Glowforge laser engraver, a vinyl cutter, a t-shirt press, soldering stations, video production equipment, PCs, and more!
Do we need to have experience?
Not at all! Our makerspace is designed for all skill levels. Total beginners can experiment and explore, while experienced makers can dive into bigger projects, and everyone is encouraged to help each other out. Plus, our guides and volunteers can help with specific questions and using equipment.
Is it only for kids?
Absolutely not! While we emphazise family and community bonding, anyone and everyone is encouraged to attend.
Can kids be dropped off?
In order for our staff and volunteers to provide help to all participants equally, we ask that kids under 13 have an adult with them to supervise.
Think of our guides like lifeguards: they’re here to support, answer questions, and make sure everyone is safe, but you wouldn’t leave your child alone at the pool. Older participants (13+) are welcome to stay independently.
Do I need to buy a membership to attend?
Nope! You can purchase day passes or pay hourly ($25/hr, min. 2 hours). Additionally, if you are a homeschool member, you may use one homeschool visit for one weekend visit.
Are there any structured activities or classes?
Our weekends are mostly open and self‑directed, giving kids the freedom to create and explore at their own pace. We do, however, offer an optional workshop from 1 PM to 2 PM for those who enjoy a little extra guidance before diving into unstructured making.
What volunteering opportunities are there?
We accept volunteers aged 13 and up to help at our weekend programs. If you would like to become a volunteer, send us an email at Info@winterpark.metahumans.com
What ages can attend?
Our makerspace is for all ages—anyone who loves to tinker, build, or create is welcome! We recommend it for ages 7 and up so participants can get the most out of the tools and projects.
And yes, it’s great for adults too! We even host a special “Adult Swim” from 6 PM to 9 PM, giving grown‑up makers time to dive into projects and clubs!
What should kids bring with them?
While we provide a wide variety of materials and tools, if you or your child needs something specific for a project, you may need to bring it. Additionally, you can bring supplies like 3D printer filament, laser engraving materials, and shirts that can otherwise be purchased through us. Otherwise, just bring your curiosity!
How does the makerspace encourage learning?
We believe in learning through doing. Kids naturally develop STEAM skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities by designing, building, testing, and improving their own projects!

What People Are Saying
“I don't know about most of you, but I hated school and spent most of my time counting down the seconds till I could leave. If I attended this school, I'd be watching the clock hoping it would slow down.
If I want my son to do something he doesn't want to do, I threaten to take away a day of Meta Humans, not a joke, this actually works lol. That's how much he loves this place.
It has a Japanese cyberpunk aesthetic which feels oddly natural there and uniquely warm and cozy. There are 3D printers, laser cutters, 3D design programs my 7 year old uses to create unique models, a video studio, a lego room, a lounge for older kids, a competitive video game room, a gaming room for board games and other activities. They get XP for completing tasks, which they can turn in for rewards. They get to play video games with their friends between those XP tasks.
They've made learning fun for the kids, which is what we're missing in modern education. The kids each go at their own pace, doing their own thing a lot of the time. My son loves TinkerCAD, the 3D modeling program they use. 3D modeling is incredibly complex and difficult to learn, but with this simple program he's picking it up fast and doing some really unique things with it. This school is a perfect example of what education needs to look like going forward. And if you read this review all the way to the end, you really should go take a tour to better understand what I'm talking about, because words don't do it justice. I bet by the end of the 10 minute tour, you'll wish you could have attended a school like this.”

“My kiddo is neurospicy and has struggled to find a place where he felt comfortable enough to explore. After trying quite a few drop off enrichment programs for homschoolers, Meta Humans is the first to bring my kiddo out of his shell!
He’s always so eager to share his day with me, show me what he’s been working on, talk about what he experimented with, who he worked with, etc. Being in the right environment has allowed him to grow and it’s been beautiful to watch him come into his own!
We highly recommend this place to everyone we know. He’s so comfortable with the staff, everyone has been wonderful. We signed up for the membership and set up to attend their summer enrichment program!”
