The center
Altamonte Springs is a full makerspace with the Glowforge laser cutter, 3D printers, vinyl cutter and heat press, soldering stations, robotics kits, and dedicated project space, minutes off I-4.
The full 2026-27 schedule runs here, all eight terms.
Hours and rhythm
Open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 4:00. We strongly recommend arriving at 9:00.
Extended stay: available past 4:00 at $20 per hour for families who need it.
Camps: run during summer and school breaks.
Getting here
Off SR 436 near Spring Centre, with easy access from I-4. Most member families drive 15 to 30 minutes.

Meet Louis - Lead Educator at Meta Humans Altamonte Springs
Louis leads the Altamonte Springs center with a strong focus on community, shared experience, and positive energy. His work centers on helping kids and teens feel like they belong, not by forcing participation, but by creating moments of connection through playing together, eating together, and being present with one another.
Altamonte Springs is intentionally social. Curiosity often starts here through interaction: games, conversation, shared routines, and collaborative activities. Louis pays close attention to group dynamics, making sure every learner has space to engage, contribute, and find their own place within the community.
This environment works especially well for kids and teens who grow through connection, who benefit from guided social experiences, and who become curious when they feel welcomed, seen, and included.
